have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried - no junk food.

For that much weight (and really for any amount) you have to double team the problem. You can't just do the exercise, and you can't just do the diet. You need to do both. Walk 30 minutes a day, fast enough to get your heart rate up and have you breathing hard. Don't be scared of a gym, the treadmills are great and you can see your heart rate and calories burned. Go low fat, low carb as much as you can, eat vegetables and drink plenty of water, staying off of sugary drinks for hydration. And make sure you are eating a low fat low calorie evening meal (dinner). Most people make the mistake of eating a heavy dinner and then just sitting around all evening not burning the calories off. No soft drinks!!! And no eating after dinner except just a very small amount of something decent, not a bag of potato chips for example. I've eaten soup for dinner almost every day for 4 months or so and it really makes a big difference. Get going, you have to BURN CALORIES, and with trying to lose that much you probably should walk for a good 45 minutes a day, as boring as you might find it. But you will feels SO much better about yourself and physically in about 6 months.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.
The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.
Get started today!

Losing weight is a simple equation: if you burn more calories than you eat, the weight will come off. Start off by estimating how many calories you burn each day using the calorie calculator http://straighthealth.com/pages/tools/caloriecalclb.html This will give you an idea of how many calories to eat. Healthy weight loss is 1-2 pounds per week. To lose 1 pound per week you need to create a calorie deficit (burn more than you eat) of 500 calories per day. To lose 2 pounds a week, you have to double the deficit to 1000 calories per day. You can achieve this by eating less, exercising more or a combination of both.
