Yes that sounds very good. Other ways include dipping in flour and seasoning or using cracker meal for a crispy texture. Serve with fries (chips) and a cold lager and i will be over in 15' to help you eat it all. lol

Yes and really you can do it without dipping it in anything first before the cornmeal. The fillet/cut fish should be wet or will be after you wash it and that'll make the cornmeal stick. The milk or egg is added just for extra flavor and to make the coating taste better.

Sure, I've done that, but I've mixed some flour in with the cornmeal so it will adhere better to the fish. Cornmeal alone will sometimes fall off during frying.

Easily! Just dredge them in a flour and cornmeal mix with spices, and make a batter with flour and cornmeal and a beer. Dredge, dunk, fry, enjoy!

I never dip any of my fried meats in eggs or milk.
I rinse them in cold water and while the are damp I roll in flour of corn meal. Then fry in hot oil.
And they are very good.

My thought is your mixture is two moist. I always refrigerate them for an hour or two, but for breakfast I would make them the night before.
