I'm a big fan of Japanese themed tattoos on guys, dragons, samurai, koi, etc. I don't like chest tattoos on guys, but it's my own preference. Tribals are always good, but sometimes they can look a little generic, so I would try to find or design something unique. I think any tattoo that is completely unique and from the mind of the person getting the tattoo is the hottest of all.

Don't get tribal or barbed wire, dude they are overdone. Last names across the back are kind of cliche, but if you have a nice build on your back (like I do) then it can be pulled off, also my lettering is in Graffitti font not fuc*ing old english, that is overdone too.
If you're gonna get a dragon get a BIGASS dragon, at least a 1/2 sleever or 1/4 of your back.
My wife was immediately attracted to me, when she first saw me at work, I was wearing a sleeveless shirt and my dragon tattoo on my right arm is what got her (and I have big triceps!) I have a 1/2 sleeve worth of a coiled asian(ish) dragon.

If you are gonna get tribal, then get a full chest or back piece, tribal arm bands are kind of silly looking, especially of they have yin-yangs and sh*t like that in it. There someone on here that has what looks like the tree of life (?) maybe, tattooed as a whole back piece. That would be pretty cool.

Either way, different women (or men) are gonna find different tattoos "hot" on different guys. There really is not an all around wonder.

I love tattooed guys! My husband has two wicked tatts - one of a tribal influenced Eye of Horus on one shoulder and a Royal Flush of playing cards on his other. I personally prefer black tattoos without too much colour but if they're done well then pretty much anything goes.
My favourite tattooed guy (apart from my hubby!) is Nikki Sixx - he is a work of art! These aren't the best pictures but give you an idea...http://www.nikkisixx.tv/tattoos.html

always remember a tattoo is still not acceptable to some people. some is okay with one tattoo & not more. if you planning to go into office line or service line, then i persuade you not to put at the neck, you should know why. a tattoo is a body art and i think is for you to share with your love ones and enjoy it yourself. so what you want to put should depend on whether you will regret in the future a not, not whether they'll attract attention. a tattoo is following you for life, make your choices wisely! tommorow will be better! :]

I like the look of a twisted vine tattooed around a wrist or an ankle. I'd keep it simple for me because you have to remember that most likely they will be on you in to an older age. Why turn your body into a personal history piece with names or hearts or ships, etc? Despite my opinion, it should really be up to the guy.

My hubby has a tattoo on his shoulder blade, he was a cleanskin when we got married. Its of 2 winged dragons curled around in a yin yang symbol, one red, one black, and he decided not to get them coloured very brightly, they actually look faded, but that was the design, and they look great, its about 5 inches in diameter. I personally love it, helped him pick out the design, sat with him while getting it done and helped him care for it. I also love upper arm and shoulder tattoos on men, and black and white stomach tattoos below the bellybutton.

Something original, that shows he has a mind of his own and didn't just copy Beckham/pick something off the tattoo artist's wall. I think Tribal and Copperplate lettering tattoos are just far too common now.

and of course, don't get a woman's name, for the love of God!

Depends on the guy. Depending on their physique, the meaning of the tattoo and the quality of the tattoo. If the tattoo is done by a good artist it will look hott on any guy.

I think Tribal tattoos are the coolest. I think guys with tattoos on their neck or forearm are hot!
