Every action gets a reaction. Jesus reacted or rebelled against Judaism or at least wanted to "improve" on it. This lead to organized relgion on a grand scale once war criminal Emperor Constantine embraced Christianity. People left out of this influence then went on to follow Mohammed not to be less than the rest. It was like a religious war race started.
If Israel had evolved something like a philosophy ie. Budhism, Humanity would have been spared religious intolerance, wars, and the Holocaust... Imagine.

Nah, there were plenty more religions that were intrusive.

To me, the blame can be laid at Constantine's feet. Christians won the religion lottery when he endorsed them.

As for Muslims, really, they're only relatively recently spreading much beyond the middle east/Indian ocean region.

Well, it's not that simple. On the one hand, of course, the history of religion, as of anything else, is a series of extraordinary accidents. On the other, religion is necessarily a reflection of the spirit of the people among whom it flourishes. "By their fruits shall ye know them." If the devotees of a particular religion are as a rule ignorant, blockheaded bigots, then we cannot rationally *blame* the religion, which is after all only the expression of their zeitgeist - although we may justifiably *condemn* both the religion and its devotees as such.

Had the people been ready for something more "evolved" than Judaism or Christianity or Islam, that something would've happened - "naturally," as it were. Of course it's easy to interpret the current confusion of religious attitudes as the growing pains of humanity as it takes the Next Step. "Fundamentalists" are having their swan song; and it is perhaps appropriate that they believe the Apocalypse will take place in their lifetimes.

If Abraham had not listened to God and become the first Jew, then Jesus would never had been born as he came to fulfill the law established by God's covenant with Abraham.

There still would have been world religions that attempt to dominate the scene, even the false religion of Islam.

Dictators would still oppress the people and wars would still have occured. What would not have happened would be the world relief and charity supplied by Christians to others.

I doubt that any muslims say so , else they are bluffers & they only tell U that they are muslims. In our believes we take that Moses & Jesus are prophets & we've faith in them no rely if we are muslims Sunni or Shiite . asserting that Allah existed i consider u we can say so simply by fact Allah is the call of god in Islam , so in accordance to our believes Allah is the god for the three religions Edit: WE even have faith that the messages of Judaism/Chris. replaced into deceived in a while , yet whilst it 1st got here the two the place good & a believer would desire to have accompanied them U r good in ur question , yet u purely mis-gained the documents from those muslims in Q&A they did no longer advise that islam is older in any respect

Don't mix religion with logic - that's like fire & gasoline.

How can you improve on an angry god who had his only son murdered & tortured so that he could find a way to forgive you for what Adam & Eve did 6,000 years ago? Give me a break!!

The Jews would be Christian and will be Christian. The Gentiles and Islam must join them if they want to receive the blessings promised to abraham. (read the 19th chapter of Isaiah)
