Is it something that comes with age when we are less consumed with our appearance?

if i have devoted the entire day to being at home alone puttering inside then i wont take a shower. if i have to run out to the store i will take a quick shower and head out. i used to make the same run to the store with full makeup, hair clothes. now i can't be bothered to do it. i think in everyones life there comes a time when we are comfortable with who we are without all the other crap that used to consume us.

No, I don't take a shower if I'm not leaving the house and I definately think it's an age thing you're either over 35 or a boy under 16.

I frequently skip a shower if I'm not going anywhere important. Hell, sometimes I'll even skip a shower when I go to work, especially if I had too much to drink the night before. Those 15 extra minutes of sleep are like gold!

I've skipped a shower or two in my life. But it's rare. I like the smell of soap coming off of my body. To each it's own I guess. I wouldn't think less of a person who skipped showers. Just as long as they dont sit around in funk!

Actually many people have skin problems from showering too often and too hotly, and using too much soap. It dries out our skin; our natural skin oils never get a chance because they're constantly washed off. It's very good to skip a shower when you can!

It's always an excellent idea to take a shower if you haven't any plans. That's generally what I do when I'm myself. That's the first thing I think of when I wake up.

It depends on whether I feel dirty or not. If I don't feel like I'm dirty then I sometimes skip taking a shower if I don't feel like having one, since I won't be meeting anyone anyway. But sometimes, like today, I want to have a shower even though I'm not expecting to go out or meet anyone today. I just like feeling clean.

People who are depressed tend not to like to shower. I shower twice a day whether I go out or not.

I tried skipping my shower now and then, but, in the summer time, when I opened my windows, I discovered the neighbors were wondering where that terrible smell was coming from.
