They can be however short or long you want. I recommend the new cream that just thins hairs. Less pain !!!

I used to go to the salon but have been doing it myself at home for years now and I much prefer it. I've tried loads of different home waxing kits and in my experience the only ones that work are the tubs of wax which you have to heat up in the microwave, I use the Immac one. This even works on oyur bikini area perfectly, but takes a little practice! Best thing to do is smooth the warm wax onto the skin in the direction of hair growth, press on the material strips and quickly rip it backwards (not upwards). Also be careful not to burn yourself but the best results are gained the warmer the wax. Good luck!

(note this is for legs as this is what i wax xx)
if you decide to do a home job, go for 5mm, (note: regrowth tends to be thinner and lighter in colour after waxing than shaving / other) exfoliate from between 12 and 3 hours before, and i find a VERY light dusting of talcum powder helps. Legs should be clean and dry WITHOUT moisturiser or any oil.

pre-waxed strips are painful and do not do the job right. I recomend a hot wax. These are tubs of liquid wax, which you put in the micro wave/ hot water to heat. This is smoothed on salon stylee and pulled off with cotton strips (provided).
This is more comfortable, effective and nicer than pre waxed. Second best to salon

i advise to go to salon for any areas apart from legs as it is a bit tricky on your own. Especially eyebrows and bikini as a salon person(lol) knows how to avoid pain and discomfort and does it in one go. always read the leaflet!!

hope i helped!
xx

Depends on the type of wax you get.
I use Veet Ready to Use Cold Wax Strips and they remove hair that's around 2mm in length.
It costs about £5 and there's 20 wax strips in there along with 4 perfect finish wipes that remove any remaining wax and make your legs smooth and shiny.

Your hair should be between 1/8 and 1/4 inch long. I used to use Nad's to wax. But, if it fits in your budget, it's much easier to go to a salon.

Depends what area of the body, but at LEAST 4mm long (approx the width of a £1 coin). You're much better off going to a salon that doing it youself.

Hi,
The Mother of my chidren was asked why she liked a pint of Guinness.
She said - "yes, and I've also got hairy legs"
So don't worry about it, unless you are modeling tights or something.
Leave yourself as nature intended, blokes like myself don't mind.
Bob.
