How do i find out what version of DOS is running on my pc?

I have XP-Home Edition with SP2. Would that be 6.22?

XP, Windows 2000, and Windows NT don't contain DOS, although XP can create DOS-bootable disks.

Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories and click on the Command Prompt.

This isn't really DOS, but it's close enough.
