Eggs provide protein, vitamin A, riboflavin, and other vitamins and minerals. The yolk contains all the fat, saturated fat, and cholesterol in an egg. In 1 large egg, the yolk contains 5 grams total fat, 2 grams saturated fatty acids, 213 milligrams cholesterol, and 60 calories. The egg white contains 15 calories. Use the Nutrition Facts panel on each individual product label to learn about the nutrient content of that food and how it fits into an overall daily diet.

no longer particularly. The eggs we consume purchase from the save have not been fertilized and could by no skill be hatched. That 'white' this is expounded to the yolk is basically the 'leftovers' of the 'wrapping' around the yolk, form of 'bunched up' and it is on each egg even whilst they are not fertilized. The egg could desire to be 'waiting' for fertilization, and whilst that does take place it is the yolk that 'grows' and turns into the chicken, and that 'white wrapper' is there to guard the newborn chicken, which eats the wrapper because it grows.
