its just subjective isnt it. good manners to some people are bad to others, often its the generation gap.

another factor to consider is lack of respect, wether its waranted or not.....

Manners are "learned", although some people are intuitively more sensitive to others' feelings and a particular situation and act appropriately. Five primary reasons for lack of manners are: 1-Little or no training and/or knowledge (easy to fix - get an etiquette book, observe others, take a class); 2-Self-absorbtion and lack of awareness and/or interest in others (ALSO known as, "It is all about me"), 3-Too much interaction with inanimate objects (TV, IPOD, Computer) where you do not have to make any kind of personal effort (start interacting with people more); 4-Laziness (you know better, but choose not to act); 5-Bad behavior and "attitude" get more press, exposure and attention than good behavior - media, TV and music set the tone and emphasize that "being 'bad' or 'rude' or 'obnoxious' is cool" (example, "gangsta rap, "vacant" blond heiresses, etc.).

coz Some people thought that they won't survive with manners, but can survive with power and money. That's why some rich people are so polite becoz they got money and power, the next and most important thing for them is their reputaton.

Well it could be as simple as that they were not taught any. Some know of them but do not feel they should use them. I think it is just one of the added problems to the changing world.
