In the past year i have gained 20 pounds, which is alarming considering my small frame. I have cut back on how much i eat and replaced snacks with a fruit, and for the past 2 months i have been jogging every day for 45 minutes. I have lost only about 5 pounds in these two months which is frustrating because i expected to lose much more. What am i doing wrong? and what else can i be doing to speed up the weightloss?

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried - no junk food.

I lost 105 pounds in 6 months. Here is how I did it.
1. Every morning get up and walk for 45 minutes. You can start with less time, but you want to get up to 45 minutes, and it must be fast walk. You want your heart rate to go up. It must be in the morning, it kick starts your metabolism.
2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).
3. Eat half. Just eat half of what you normally eat. Put 1/2 on your plate, and put the rest away. Cook less. When you go to fast food, get salads only. Or grilled chicken. No fries, only diet soda. Or water.

It will work, once you get into a routine, you will get hooked on the results, and you will keep the routine. It has been over a year for me.

Also start counting your calories. Write them down. You would be amazed as to how much more aware you are of your caloric intake, if you actually write it down. We recently discovered a site that offers a great program that counts calories, as well as keeps track of everything. It allows multiple users, so everyone in the family can keep track. They offer a free 7 day trial, and so far I am very impressed with the product. Try the 7 days and see. It allows you to add the exercise that you do during the day, which increases the amount of calories you can take in. Very Cool!!

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

seems such as you're on the stunning song. I even have heard approximately, yet no longer tried yet, that a reliable colon cleanse will knock off many pounds. you are able to look online for some that have good comments and testimonials. there is likewise a foodstuff plan that's a cleanse you will discover online that's lemon juice and Grade B maple syrup you are able to attempt. which would be my selection. Oh, grade B had extra nutrients because of the fact this is not any longer subtle. i understand numerous people who've had good fulfillment with it and are not getting hungry and experience lively. be careful weight-reduction plan and work out. stay hydrated and don't overdo by using using extra ability than your physique can positioned out. good success, sweetie.

Hi,
I sent you an email with suggestions. Hope it helps. I always had trouble eating enough vegetables, so I make a pot of this great vegetable (and chicken or turkey if you desire) soup. It has a variety of vegetables, is low sodium, has protein from either beans or meat, and is very very healthy. I make 16 qts, then freeze most of it in single serving containers. If its always available I'll keep eating it.

-Start with a large soup pot
-Fill a little more than halfway with water
-Start boiling
-Chop up about 15-20 cloves of garlic (yes, really)
-Add some chopped onions, fresh parsley (lots), chopped carrots, celery, and potatoes to the pot.
-Add spices to make it tasty. (I use garlic powder, chile powder, paprika, cumin, pepper, a pinch of salt, and bit of parmesan cheese)
-Turn to medium low when it starts to boil
-Add the following:
-Chop any vegetables you like into bitesize pieces (broccoli, string beans, snap peas, cauliflower, hearts of palm, baby corn, etc) You can use frozen if its easier.
-Add a can of each: chick peas, black beans, butter/lima beans, any other legume you like, corn, sweet peas, etc
-I usually add chopped up cooked chicken/turkey breast also.
-Let cook on low to med heat for about 45 mins to 1 hour. -Check the potatoes or carrots (if they were fresh). Soup is done when they are soft enough for your taste. I like them on the firm side.
I eat 2 or 3 bowls of soup each day with whole grain bread, (plus other food), and the weight seems to melt slowly off. The veggies are key to any meal plan, and make sure you eat a good variety.
That's it! Good Luck!

You are overeating if you have gained weight. Try to listen to your body and eat when you're hungry and stop when you feel comfortable not full. This will allow you to shed weight without having to obsess about calories. Try doing more exercise too.
