I know some homosexuals & bisexuals who are very sweet with a good heart & faithful to God by attending church regularly. If God can forgive a murderer, how come he can't forgive a homosexual or bisexual? There are plenty of heterosexuals who go to the lake of fire AKA hell.

Sure they can and do. We really don't know what has made them the way they are but God knows their whole lives and everything about them and loves them still. If they love him and love others they can definitely go to heaven. Jesus died for all of them too and has made a way for them to go to heaven also.

The Bible consistently tells us that homosexual activity is a sin (Genesis 19:1-13; Leviticus 18:22; Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9). Romans 1:26-27 teaches specifically that homosexuality is a result of denying and disobeying God. When a person continues in sin and disbelief, the Bible tells us that God “gives them over” to even more wicked and depraved sin in order to show them the futility and hopelessness of life apart from God. 1 Corinthians 6:9 proclaims that homosexual “offenders” will not inherit the kingdom of God.

God does not create a person with homosexual desires. The Bible tells us that a person becomes a homosexual because of sin (Romans 1:24-27), and ultimately because of their own choice. A person may be born with a greater susceptibility to homosexuality, just as people are born with a tendency to violence and other sins. That does not excuse the person choosing to sin by giving into their sinful desires. If a person is born with a greater susceptibility to anger / rage, does that make it right for then to give into those desires? Of course not! The same is true for homosexuality.

However, the Bible does not describe homosexuality as a “greater” sin than any other. All sin is offensive to God. Homosexuality is just one of the many things listed in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 that will keep a person from the kingdom of God. According to the Bible, God’s forgiveness is just as available to a homosexual as it is to an adulterer, idol worshipper, murderer, thief, etc. God also promises the strength for victory over sin, including homosexuality, to all those who will believe in Jesus Christ for their salvation (1 Corinthians 6:11; 2 Corinthians 5:17).

The Bible does not state explicitly anywhere that this is so. People often misinterpret the verses they believe are about homosexuality. Romans 1 isn't about just homosexuality, it's about homosexuality as a form of idolotry. 1 Corinthians 6 is actually rendered homosexual offender in most modern translations, which a good amount of study would show was actually Paul addressing the Roman act of having young boys as temple prostitutes.

If you believe in God, then you truly know that God created all life - so why would God destroy life that he created? People make declarations of what is morally right or wrong & in the name of God, but ultimately it is not for us to decide or know.....the people who write/believe that they know the answer to this question are basing their opinion on the idea that 1. these are lifestyle choices (it has been scientifically proven that they are not) 2. they believe their "spin" or other people's "spin" on documents (bible, etc.) that were basically written by humans to guide society in a more productive way to lead a life....these words are an interpretation of what people think God said or wants....and therefore flawed. You will get millions of interpretations of what the words mean, but ultimately it is the true word of God that matters....God loves all of his creations....lead a good life, make mistakes & learn by them & don't repeat them....and trust that there is a higher being who does not destroy his creations by following the guidelines of limited human minds.

....Just read some of the other answers & had to add this - it is amusing to read that a bisexual person believes that they will go to heaven, and yet people who are not Christian will not go to heaven.....so, "good" Jews, Muslims, Buddhists are out, huh? Very limited thinking by people imposing their "take" on God's word.....

If the people you know have repented of all their sins, including, homosexuality and all sexual sins, and asked the Lord to forgive them and fully surrendered this lifestyle over to God, then yes they'll go to heaven. If they've done this, then they are saved. The Bible says, they've been given a new heart and a new slate. All of their sins are forgiven and forgotten. Just like any other sin. But if they haven't, then yes they will go to hell, just like any other sinner.

The Bible says that "all sin is outside the body, but sexual sin affects the body". And "the only sin that will not be forgiven, is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit". It also says that "If you forgive men their trespasses against you, then your Heavenly Father will forgive you, your trespasses. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses against you, neither will your Heavenly Father forgive you, your trespasses".

God forgives all who come to Him and repent. People don't get to heaven by good works, as there is "none good but God". Only through accepting Jesus Christ's death on a cross for their sins and giving their heart over to Him, is any one theever made righteous enough before God, in order to enter heaven. Only God can remove the stain of sin and change a person from the inside out, by giving them a new heart. Clean of sin. Next to God, we are all fall short. Sin is sin is sin. God hates all sin, not the sinner.

Going to church won't get any one to heaven, and neither will it cleanse away anyones sins or give you a good heart, doesn't matter who they are. Only the Love of God and Jesus Christ can do that. Just like going to church won't make you a christian any more than sitting in your garage once a week will make you a car.

Jesus said "Every tree is known by it's fruit. and a man is known by the fruit he produces". An apple tree can't produce tomatoes, likeways you can only get apple seeds from an apple. i.e. if a homosexual or bisexual or whatever, is practicing these things during the week and going to church, then the answer to your question is no.

And I agree, theres plenty of heterosexuals who will be in hell also, You can't reject God's Son and expect God to welcome you into heaven. Heterosexual, homosexual, transexual,or bisexual alike. You simply can't practice ANY sexual sin and still go heaven, no matter how sweet and good you think you are.Same with adultery, murder, idol worship, lying, stealing, envying, coveting, greed, hatred or any other type of sinning. That's why we all need Jesus. We all sin............

Only God gets to decide who goes to Heaven or Hell. Many people get confused about this, and think they can make that determination FOR God. That's an error in reasoning.

If a person has truly accepted the free gift from God and is SAVED by Grace through Jesus Christ then he is going to Heaven , However no one that is truly Saved will continue in there sins , A person that killed someone and then got saved will not continue to go out and kill because they have a Love for Jesus and they would not want to bring shame on His Name

God forgives all people...who ask for forgiveness and stop committing the sin.

He forgives a murderer if that person is truly sorry...but not if you continue to murder until the day you die. He also forgives homosexuality but not if you are living that lifestyle and claiming that it's okay when it clearly is a sin.

God forgives all who truly repent.

I agree with you. I also say that no mere human can fathom the depths of God's love and mercy, so not a one of us can say who is or who is not going to heaven or hell.

I am a Bisexual Christian. I answer this question whenever I see it.

A Christian is a Christian because he or she puts their trust in God through Jesus Christ. Nothing can get in the way of that once it's accomplished. God promises things in the Bible and a Christian will believe it. They trust God to fulfill His word, whatever God says, he will do.

So Homosexuality and Bisexuality, and whatever -ality, God can be trusted-- that is a Christian who trusts him to do it. He is trustworthy.

So yes, I will 'go to heaven'. And so will anyone else who trusts God in that way.
