interrupting people day after day at dinner (or any other time of day) to try to cram their product down their potential customer's throat isn't a very smart business practice?

To some degree, it is smart. Dinner time is when the majority of people are home. It makes no sense to call people in the middle of the day as many, if not most are at work or school. Suffice it to say that its also a bad time as people are eating dinner and you're sure to pi$s someone off.

i worked as a door to door sales for a little while as i was in a different country and was broke. i had to put up with many doors slammed in my face, getting abused and creepy old men (bit stereotypical i know) but the point im trying to make is yes telemarketers are annoying but it is an easy job to get for people in a different country or who arent qualified. Also ild like to mention that abusing the telemarketer isnt fair, yes they are ringing you at intrusive hours but if you want to blame/abuse someone then focus it at the company that employs them. The telemarketers themselves are just trying to put food on the table and most are only doing the job until they find something better.

I have heard all of them i grow to be a telemarketer I maid $18.00 an hour plus fee. That grow to be to initiate it is going up a dollar each and every 5 months. I worked next to a guy that grow to be making $86.00 an hour. I stop cuz I had to flow. interesting circumstances I spent maximum of my time guffawing human beings can get very resourceful. i will call all of us at time for dinner. *evil chuckle* hahahahahahahaha

They know, but this is their most profitable time.
Want to get rid of them. Buy a small air horn (like what you use on a boat in emergencies) and keep it by the phone. When they call, squeeze the trigger and listen to the explitives fly.
It works, because I do not get telemarketing calls anymore. It is like I have been put on their do not call list.

Telemarketers do not eat, have no brains, have no manners ,or care.
They are the bottom of the food chain and have nothing to loose bothering people.
Alexander Bell invented the telephone and then Jon invented the bath tub so telemarketers could call you while you were in the tub.

But your premise is wrong. The reason that telemarketers do call during dinner or in the evenings is because IT WORKS. None of us may like it, but believe me, if it didn't work, they wouldn't be doing it.

at the time u r annoyed they r so happy to catch some one can help them to get thier target so they attack u any where u go in work at home on road there 's no way to escape
