We can all learn from God's son Jesus to learn the best way to develop a loving relationship with God. Some scriptures help provide what we all should do and not do in order to have that relationship.

To have his approval:
John 17:3 - "This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ."
James 4:8 - "Draw close to God, and he will draw close to YOU. Cleanse YOUR hands, YOU sinners, and purify YOUR hearts, YOU indecisive ones."
Psalms 1:2,3 - "But his delight is in the law of Jehovah,
And in his law he reads in an undertone day and night.
And he will certainly become like a tree planted by streams of water,
That gives its own fruit in its season
And the foliage of which does not wither,
And everything he does will succeed.

Things that displease God:
Proverbs 6:16-19 - "
There are six things that Jehovah does hate; yes, seven are things detestable to his soul: lofty eyes, a false tongue, and hands that are shedding innocent blood, a heart fabricating hurtful schemes, feet that are in a hurry to run to badness, a false witness that launches forth lies, and anyone sending forth contentions among brothers."
1 Corinthians 6:9-11 - "What! Do YOU not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men, nor thieves, nor greedy persons, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit God’s kingdom. And yet that is what some of YOU were. But YOU have been washed clean, but YOU have been sanctified, but YOU have been declared righteous in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and with the spirit of our God."

i can have a relationship with God by forgetting that 'I' exist in this body. After all, this is 'my' body. Then who am 'I'?

'I' am the one in constant relationship with God.

To elaborate this statement, i give you an example below to consider.

One goes to Himalayas to see a sunrise from a vantage point. The golden sun rises amongst silver white mountain peaks -- as if gold is poured in a silver bowl. Tall trees around sing a serenade. One finds it extremely fascinating and enjoyable.

What did one experience?

The person experienced God's companionship, because s/he forgot her/his bodily existence.

If someone disagrees, let him try this scenario. Imagine going to the same place but add a bit of worldly / bodily worries; like a severe headache, or a big loss in business if he does not hurry back.

Sure, the ecstacy and enjoyment is lost in this scenario. Why?

Because in this scenario, the person could not delink his existence (himself) from his body.

How then can we experience the company of God always, since our mind keeps thinking of ourselves always (24x7x60x60 seconds) as a body and its needs.

Pray to God always with all your strength and if you are unable to do so, divert your mind to others -- think that you are they -- 'love thy neighbour as thyself'; as you love yourself.

In our great country, India, we had practised this -- allowed everyone to remember God the way s/he perceived Him / Her. After all God is a huge topic and all researchers are welcome. That is why for religious varieties and practices tolerance comes naturally to an Indian.

To be in the company of God 24x7x60x60 is that easy! Or that difficult!

May God show his rahmat (mercy) on all the faithful! Amen!

Therefore remember Me (by praying, glorifying, etc.). I will remember you, and be grateful to Me (for My countless Favours on you) and never be ungrateful to Me.
(Al-Baqarah 2:152)

to have a relationship with God it's so easy just
surrender to his will .by that you will begin to receiveing his blessing .

but you have to choose the true God many people worship Prophet Jesus even he didn't asking them to do so .others worship so and so .My advice is read and learn about the true God .

You only can have a relationship -good or bad- with a real person. You can not have a relationship with imaginary things, like the Tooth fairy, god, Santa Clause, allah, Boogy man.

Having a personal relationship with Jesus begins the moment we realize our need for Him, admit we are sinners, repent from our sin, and ask Him into our to be the authority in our lives. God, our heavenly Father, has always desired to be close to us, having a relationship with us. Before Adam sinned in the Garden of Eden (Genesis chapter 3), both he and Eve knew God on an intimate, personal level. Due to the sin of man, we became separated from Him. He is perfect, and can not live among sin. Before Jesus' death on the cross, people had to sacrifice animals when they sinned, for the Bible says that the wages of sin is death.

What a lot of people don't know, realize, or care about is that Jesus gave us the most amazing gift; the opportunity to spend eternity with Him and God the Father if all we do is believe, or trust, in Him. “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23). God sent His Son to take on our sin, be killed, and then be raised again, proving His victory over sin and death. “So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1). If we accept this gift, God has now become attainable to us.

We should include God in our daily lives the same way we would any other member of our family, only a much more important one! We should pray to Him, read His word, and meditate on verses in an effort to get to know Him better and be able to do His will. We should pray for wisdom, which is the most valuable asset we could ever have. We should take our requests to Him, asking in Jesus' name. Jesus said, “You didn't choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce fruit that will last, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name” (John 15:16). Jesus is the one who loves us enough to give His life for us, and He is the one who bridged the gap between us and God. And God is the one who sent Jesus to do it; they are one in the same, and both deserve all of our honor, praise, and worship.

The Holy Spirit is also God; the “part” who has been given to us as our Counselor. “If you love me, obey my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world at large cannot receive him, because it isn't looking for him and doesn't recognize him. But you do, because he lives with you now and later will be in you” (John 14:15-17). Jesus said this before He died, and after He died the Holy Spirit became available to all who earnestly seek to receive Him. He is the one who lives in the hearts of believers and never leaves. He counsels us, teaches us truths, and changes our hearts. Without this divine Holy Spirit, we would not have the ability to fight against evil and temptations. But since we do have Him, we begin to produce the fruit that comes from allowing the Spirit to control our us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).

This personal relationship with Jesus that you are seeking is not as hard to find as you think; and there is no mysterious formula for getting it. As soon as we become children of God, we receive the Holy Spirit, who will begin work on our hearts. We should pray without ceasing, read the Bible, and join a Bible-believing church; all these things will grow us spiritually. Trusting in God to get you through each day, and believing that He is your sustainer is the way to have a relationship with Him. Although you may not see changes immediately, you will begin to see them over time, and all the truths will become more clear.

Although you are the enemy of the Christians, God taught us to still love you and this is the answer of the bible .

Mat 5:43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
Mat 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
Mat 5:45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

You must seek him. Christ says...knock and the door shall be open. What this means is that action is required on our part. We are to come to him, desire him. He will be there and respond, he promises.

The more you look for him, the deeper he calls you into himself. You will fall in love, believe me.
