There are many who agree with what the Quran has said about embryology, the cerebrum, the mountains, clouds, seas and rivers, deep seas and internal waves, even space travel. They are actually FOR these miraculous things.
Don't know any against it. :)

I've never heard scientists as a group say anything against or for religion. There may be individual scientists who say things pro or con with regard to religion, but asking what scientists say about religion is like asking what any other group says about something - you will have lots of different answers because they're all individuals.

The story of Noah & the Arc is not the truth because scientists now know that Noah would have to get to the Amazon Rain Forest to gather many of the 1 million different species of insects and where did he keep them for 40 days? Scientists know that the story of Adam & Eve is not the truth because, if people of the same family have children the offspring are always born with genetic defects.

I don't know what scientists today say about religion, but I do know that 66% of them believe in God. What is more, the history of science has many believers. As such what scientists have to say about religion should be no more than what the general population has to say about it, especially since God is not generally their field of study. Despite all the debate about science and God, there is a smart minority out here who believe that they do not conflict.

I don't think scientists cast themselves as being "against" religion so much as being "for" empirical facts.

Science is the pursuit of knowledge, religion is the pursuit of fairy tales to allow the domination of many by a few.

scientists have nothing personal against religion...it's just that scientific evidence speaks for itself and contradicts some beliefs in certain religions...that's not anybody's fault..

the bible is a fairytale. Adam & eve are not real, we evolved from apes, & as for Noah & his ark, there isn't a hope in hell that he got 2 of every animal, he sure didn't come all the way to Australia & get 2 kangaroos, koalas wallabies, wombats & Echidnas . bible was written to scare people to be good
