I got microsoft office installed from a place. When I try to activate it an error says "this software has been activated the maximum number of times". If anybody can help me get this thing activated then I'll be really grateful. And I'll give them the best answer!!!

It means exactly what it says - it's a pirated copy. If you paid for it, then you should contact the store where you got it and have them give you another copy, and if they don't then report them to Microsoft.

You can't.
It's an illegal corporate copy with a set number of activations, buy a real copy!!!

try to install it with another CD-KEY.
