I have a program called Arcade on my pc which fires up everytime I put a cd or dvd in. I want to turn it off so it only opens when i ask it to, not automatically, its really annoying and slows my machine down for about 15 mins! I've tried making my other programs preferential but it hasn't seemed to work. Can anyone help me please?

If you have installed the program and the problem continues to prevail I am afraid to tell you but it is not possible to stop the program from popping up but to make your computer load faster either get more RAM on your PC or wait till everything has finished loading on the start up screen before you cancel the application. My Acer laptop also comes with a program called Arcade.
Read your PC manual OR click on the Help Tab to determine what Arcade does. This behaviour may be normal.
The slowdown may be malware, not Arcade.
