Not that we would have a need, but do we have the technology and capability to build the exact replica of an Egyptian Pyramid? Any theories?

There are pyramids, and then there is the Great Pyramid. I think that the perfection of the Great Pyramid is different. It shows God's foresight or control of history. I am not alone in this belief. The measurements are there for anyone who wishes to examine them.

Now there is a lot of mysticism mixed in with the facts, but if there is an ability to pull the truth out of the fluff, there is a way to know the truth about this subject.

Building the Great Pyramid, as far as I know, is still not possible by modern means. A very large company, http://www.bechtel.com/ once admitted that they could not build it.

I do not think that there is any point to building it though. I think that the point of the Great Pyramid is to understand what it's telling us. That there was a history or future set in stone for us to see God's hand in events that would occur after it was buildt.

There is still mystery involved with the Great Pyramid.

And if you can catch him teaching on it, Dr. Gene Scott is the best teacher on that theory, the one that I am saying about it being God's word set in stone;

Here is the key passage in the Bible that shows that there is a connection to the Great Pyramid and the God of the Bible:
Isaiah 19:19 In that day there will be an altar to the LORD in the heart of Egypt, and a monument to the LORD at its border. 20 It will be a sign and witness to the LORD Almighty in the land of Egypt.

The Great Pyramid sits precisely at that spot. The midst of the land, and the border (where Lower and Upper Egypt meet).

I hope that helps you in your interest.

The technology we got. The economics and logistics are more difficult. Interest in doing so is, for all practical purposes, non-existent.

PBS had a show which attempted to replicate, on a scaled-down basis, the building of the Great Pyramid via the same means archaeologists thought the Egyptians had used.

By sticking strictly to the known FACTS, ie, size and mass of single blocks, number of laborers, technology KNOWN to be available to the original builders, it was ascertained that:
1. The Egyptians could have built all the pyramids in that country in the given time frame (more than 1,000 years from first to last built), with the known tools, (very simple and without steel or iron) and with available manpower.
2. No little green men, no great golden goddesses, no e-t's were necessary for their construction.
3. Egyptian architects were bloody geniuses.
4. Simple geometry was all that was necessary for the alignments and measurements that so intrigue the mystically oriented today.

As for other pyramids worldwide, they were constructed along very different lines. Unlike those of Egypt they are largely mounds of rubble with a stone facing. Piling up humongous mounds of rubble isn't difficult, just dangerous. It is done by selecting the location, measuring the area and constructing the first course of stone. Then pile it with rubble. Then construct the next round of stone. Then add rubble. And so on, until you reach the size the builders wanted. Simple. Just requires lots of strong backs with too much free time on their hands.

Hope this helped.

Ancient civilizations from around the world mentioned flying beings?! I don't think so. At least not in the way you're thinking. The Aztec calendar only works if you go by it but it doesn't jive with the Julian calendar. And that old battery, maybe it is and maybe it isn't. But so what if it is?

I've been to Giza and seen the pyramids and each block is about the same size as a large people-mover. we just don't have the money or the man-power anymore, besides the last king that built the pyramids killed all the labour so that no-one would know how it was done!
we need hospitals in Africa, not more graves!

They have found that the pyramids in the various parts of the World have one side aligned to Magnetic North. This Architectural Technology that people in various parts of the World managed to acquire came from somewhere other than what we are told to believe. World Governments refuse to admit that this planet has been visited by other civilizations for thousands of years.

Hi Dozer, yes we can build an exact replica and in less time than it took for the original builders but it would be an economical problem to do so as it would probably never gain enough interest to re-coup the vast expense, people would much rather see the original,I know I would, what about you?

Three thousand years from now, people will be intrigued by the massive cloverleaf design we use to build Interstate highway junctions. And they will have as little understanding about their purpose, as we do about the purpose of the pyramids in Egypt. They could have been used to hang out laundry, for all we know....

a big, big, big crane and lots of big bricks. possibly all the same size as a bungalow. oh, go on, build one. you will have the best house/grave for miles, depending on what yo want to use it for.
