x-navy here, "bring our people home!"...
we're beating a dead horse! (vietnam #2)..
it is said; "if we stop now, our people would have died in vane". i say, "killing more of our people will not justify those soldiers' deaths'".
thought this was a democracy! why is one man able to make this decision? "this is NO democracy!"
we may have had good intentions in the beginning, but it's obvious that we have opened a can of worms that can't be closed.
Hey! here's an idea!, let's concentrate on AMERICA for a change!
example: tornados completely destroyed a small community here in tennessee; they've been informed that there will be NO federal aid. we spend billions rebuilding other countries.. "WHAT AM I MISSING?

There is no "what if he doesn't veto the bill." He will. Bush won't allow any time table set for the war because he probably thinks we're doing some good out there, or he knows we can't just pack up that soon; even I think that we can't start leaving by October. There are some people there who feel we're protecting them and it would be wrong to leave them that fast within a year. We should be working on a dependable armed force for these countries so our country won't have to be scaring off the bad guys for them. I do believe we need to fight terrorism, but we invaded the wrong countries. Afghanistan was somewhat a threat, but Iraq wasn't, and still isn't. All our war has done was created more terrorists, and they go to Iraq to practice fighting our troops. We should have punished the deserving in the beginning instead of invading the wrong country, shooting the wrong people and letting it become this big of a problem.

QUOTE
"Troops need to stay there until the job is done. Period."

The only problem with that is "the job is done" has no definition, and never has.

Don't need to worry about the terrorists taking over Iraq, neither the Shiites or the Sunnis have any interest in sharing power.

He WILL veto it and I am glad. The democrats do NOT need to be running the show...withholding funds....essentially telling the commanders how to do their job. Not going to happen. Democrats want us to lose so that it will help them politically.

Troops need to stay there until the job is done. Period.

Edit: The job will be done when the sunnis and shiites stop killing each other and al qeada is gone. There ya go. Job done. PERIOD.

What about them? they will be in Iraq, Everyone thinks if this pullout thing gets passed that we are just going to be out of there in a week or two.....it will take several months to fully withdraw all of the troops. we will still be there after Oct. 1st

I heard lot of them were asked to stay longer. I don't know about ones who are scheduled to come home now. They're trying to increase by troop presence by some 20000, so they need people to stay longer in Iraq. I imagine they'll give warnings well ahead.

well anything is possible-what do you recomend pull out today?
I say I would say believe the truth-and yet about pulling out of Iraq at this point-the Terrorist will take over and have their own base of opperation to their sworn purpose of killing the infadels that stand against Islam -including all that believe Moses (that "There is no forgiveness of sins without a pure blood atonement.") Which these certain muslims feel will get them a pass to heaven by their good works-which makes Jesus a liar and His promised salvation a lie-Isaiah 9:6 "Unto us a child will be born and a SON given, and He will be almighty GOD, and the prince of peace." HE will lay down his life to make atonement for our sins-Isaiah 53
not as in the past=
well if we recovered from the disgrace of adultry and lies about it in the white house, we can probably recover from a man that married a woman and honors her without adultry. Iraq is how you spell it-if your above the 5th grade
If we blame for the garbage man being late to pick up garbage-we can blame God or anyone for everything in America that is done against the Jesus that says -one man for one woman in thankfulness and not in unthankfulness worshiping the created instead of the creator turned over to a reprobate mind as Romans chapter 1 says, yet 1st Corinthians 6:9-13 says and such WERE some of you but you have BEEN CLEANSED by the BLOOD OF JESUS. AND if we reject God from America as a nation-the athiests who have no set rule will make their own rules-are you ready for that-will you be ready to be arrested for being a chickenphobic for saying a man should not marry a chicken?

they who honor God recommend you to have a genuine testimony of salvation in Jesus amazing grace to make it last. Otherwise you are marrying a person while you worship someone other than God. How I got this I prayed, Jesus I am sorry for my sins-even one lie which separates me from you, come into my heart and help me, be my friend, amen.
this is recorded to happen in Jesus legal last will and testament=Revelation 3verses19&20 "I LOVE YOU, REPENT FROM YOUR SINS AND BEHOLD I KNOCK ON YOUR HEART DOOR TO COME IN, AND HAVE FELLOWSHIP WITH YOU AND YOU WITH ME." John 3 repent from sin and be born again, to see the kingdom of heaven. Why not make it heavenly for Iraq too instead of the threats when the question came up -
Does Islam have terrorism-like January 2006 golden mosque and the vengence after with Sunnis killing Shiites blowing up each others mosques and dragging people into the streets and murdering them-as recorded in the New York Times news paper after one year still at hand.

WILL be praying for you and best wishes too, David with reason to offer true freedom to Iraq regardless of our going there to stop its past terrorism murdering local nations and its own people in mass destruction-good question and thanks.

Even if we leave today at least we have helped to this point for freedom FREEEEEEDOM! THAT IS WHAT AMERICA IS SUPPOSE TO BE ABOUT EVEN ON Oct 1. there fight if we leave today the terrorists will soon reign -then we get to fight in America as they come here to kill the infadels.
