When will Jesus come again to descend on us?

According to the bible, jesus will come down once again to judge the living and the dead. Who belives this may happen in our lifetime? There have been so many bad things that have already taken place- i would have thought it would be the perfect time to come down.

Who believes in the antichrist coming to pay us a visit first, and not being able to buy or sell without receiving the mark. I think there is a machine that has been made called 'The Beast'?

Some people on here are really pathetic. If you have nothing decent to say, then hold your tongue. I asked a very genuine question and i do not wish to be insulted.

Jesus will return to take all of His children with Him after the Tribulation. Christians need to learn perseverance to get ready for that time, not hope for an early exit. Check out the first link below for an article about what will happen before Jesus returns.

Please forgive those who are easily insulted, and quickly insult. Nobody but the Father knows when, but Jesus Christ will catch His church away first. His feet will not touch ground. Although the "Left Behind" series is a work of fiction, it is based on the biblical events immediately before and after the "rapture", or Jesus removing His people from the earth, translating them into heaven. The first "Left Behind movie is a powerful rendition of that event, and what follows. The antichrist will come next. He will deceive many, performing great signs and miracles. The people who will be deceived are the ones who rejected the message of the Gospel, and chose their own way. That is when people will be required to receive the mark of the beast. There are two judgments: the judgment seat of Christ, where rewards will be passed out to His people for their works; the Great White Throne Judgment, where people will be judged on one thing. Jesus will come unlooked for as a thief in the night so be prepared, if the man of the house knew what time his house would be broken into he would not have suffered it so, so be ready! That is the time. When Now! The time is to be ready to meet him in the air, for this to happen to you, you must be born again aka born of God aka born of the Spirit, and thus subsequently filled with the Spirit. This means that you are participating in a lifestyle that says I have faith in Christ completely. The Beast that rises up out of the sea is the Antichrist, and with some understanding of hebrew and greek gamatria means that the number or the power of his number of his name defines him as the antichrist for his number is the number of a living breathing man and that number is 666 which stands for 600 = demonic spirituality; 60 demonic government; 6 = demonic man. He will be a world leader and rise to power on the wings of peace but he is not a man of peace but opposes everything that is of God, he will persecute the nation of Israel making her flee into the desert to a place already prepared for her. He will exalt himself over the whole world and even blaspheme heavenly creatures he will suffer a deadly head wound and be either a false resurrection or an actual resurrection by the Lucifer, Satan himself at which time Satan will actually enter into him, which it has happened only one other time that is with Judas, the tribulation period will be half over and the worst half will begin, it will be the worst period the world has ever known, physically, mentally and spiritually but he who endures to the end will be saved. At that time God will send forth 144,000 chosen individuals into the world to be evangelists and win a great multitude which no man can count. The antichrist will produce his counter strike - the mark of the beast to cause all men everywhere to take the mark of the beast which signifies their following him, any who take the mark are eternally damned because it is one taken spiritually first, then mentally then physically either on the forehead or on the right hand both showing they have given their power to the beast.

You can't know, you aren't supposed to know when he's going to come back to Earth.

Read the Bible (revelation in particular) it talks about loads of things that are going to happen before god can return to Earth, he'll come at the perfect time we just have to wait. But I think it's highly likely to be in the near future (ie less than 100 years)

That is saddening people, of course he is coming back! if you took the time to read the Bible it says so many things that are going to happen before Jesus returns, half of those things have happened and most the rest look so realistic and possible now, they could so easily happen in the next decade but 2000 years ago somebody reading these things would never understand how it could be possible. It is going to happen.

I feel the same about the beast, I feel
strongly it will be the computer.
Theres nothing on this planet that can keep
track of billions of marks like it can or will
so to speak so they cant buy or sell, that makes since.
That in itself is a stage being set for a ruler
for a one world order.

I really believe that termoil on a global scale
hasnt reached a high enough level to really make a person with wonderous and mighty powers acceptable to the world, its really
kind of early yet for the antichrist.

The reason Im saying this is that the whole world has to be in termoil and I believe
that will start with the climate around the world causing wide span problems with
growing food, pestilence in areas too wet
or hasnt got cold enough.
Natural disasters etc....

The globe I think is going to have to be in dispair before the antichrist can take his position fully.

All I know is that my mother-in-law is coming for a visit next month. She will surely judge me. I'm certain that she's not Jesus because Jesus turned water into wine. My mother-in-law judges anyone who drinks, which usually backfires and elevates my alcohol consumption. I would have to say that she's this "Beast" you speak of. I've got a loaded .357 Magnum and if she is the Antichrist the bullets probably won't hurt her. Should I test this theory and perhaps make Jesus' return go a littls smoother?

THERE IS NO SECOND COMING...you misrepresent yourself. Revelation was written by John as anecdote for the times he lived in. He was trying to muster resitance against the oppression of the Romans.

Second, what most people don't realize is that Jesus came down to teach people how to defeat the devil themselves using his flame of the pentacost. Then they wouldn't need his help at all. HE also taught John to raise Lazarus from the dead, but these instructions have been lost to corruption over the centuries. Everything JESUS needed to be set an example of has already been done.

Although I do agree we could blow ourselves up. Then was a study mentioned on CNN that we don't have a prayer in the world from destroying ourselves within 50-60 years. While that is not set in stone what I need you understand is the law of "inner" intention: As long as people focus upon pain, anger, hatred, fear, lust, dishonesty, greed, etc. they will continue to perpetuate their own hell. But if a student focuses on Christ, Love, Perfection, Truth, and the Light of GOD, then it will no trick of the mind to manifest Heaven upon this Earth.

It's a lot more complicated than this but I'm giving you a brief overview. We all have the divine ability to create just as JESUS himself did, and with 6 billion people perpetuating their own beliefs, is it any wonder that we are pushing this planet further into conflict? As long as people take the events in revelation as real, then they will surely manifest, just as all the prophetic signs have in the past.

I don't believe that anybody is coming to "save our souls". I don't mean for this to be in anyway insulting but I believe that all this stuff is irrelevant. This as happened many times since the bible was released on the world. We go through a bad period of wars, famine and general suffering and all the religious nuts in the world start running around telling everyone that armaggeddon is coming. Sorry but I'm not convinced!
