If he had a Roman Father, but a Jewish mother he would still be a Jew. According to the book Who's a Jew.
But he could still make his own decisions.

that's irrevelent. most likely Jesus would have never had a roman father because the Roman would never accept the supernatural. human power and riches will blind you of God that is why it is the root of all evil.
