The devil who offered Jesus the kingdoms of the world was the same devil that tempted Eve in the Garden. How could he have offered Jesus something he didn't own - He couldn't, thus 1 John 5:19 that says that Satan is the ruler of the world, he owns it and controls it. Think about it. Think about why people are the way they are today, evil, hating everyone else, murdering each other? It's because they are following the one who owns their world. And Jesus was no part of that world. And he said his followers would be no part of that world.

no it was satan the same satan that used to be the greatest angel in heaven.his name use to be lucifer but lucifer thought he was smarter than God.And lucifer was full of pride.So God said OK if you think you are smarter than your creator I will put you inside the middle of the earth and we will see who people end up believing in.one third of the angels went with lucifer,And right now they are in the center of the earth Hell .So their is a fight going on between God and the devil.God lets people decide on their own who they would rather be with God or the devil.God is good and loves His creation The devil hates people because satan hates anything God creates that is good.And most people are generally good.But each of us has to choose to receive Jesus or reject Jesus and that is a choice that was easy for me when I learned the truth.May God Bless You

The devil that tempted Jesus was his mind (his will.... what we have free will).......... after meditation when he had dissolved his mind..... his will.......only God's will remained..... he had no will of his own left..... you dissolve your mind.... and you will see the kingdom of heaven..... you will see God........ sadly keepers of religion all over the world don't want people to beleive that.... because then no one will care about them..... its better for them that you beleive you are a sinner..... :)..... but dissolving your mind is not that easy to do..... the mind that we have today has been developed over millions of years..... that is why what buddha.... muhammed .... Jesus ...krisna .... etc have achieved is enough to worship them ....... you can call them sons of God.... :)
