Hey!

Cantonese is 'Hong' -> 'Hong Kong' (Fragrant Harbour)
Mandarin is 'Xiang'
French is 'Parfum'

Lol my mother tongue is Vietnamese
Viet is ''Hương" -> comes from Chinese lol
Traditionally it is "Mùi" scent.

Thơm means good fragrant lol

In my mother tongue Tamil the word "Vaasanai"(pronounced as vaa-san-ai) is the word which refers to odor (a prefix indicating the nature of the smell is added before this word)

"Sugandhi" or "sugandham" is used in Malayalam language for fragrance or good smell.

P.S. Malayalam is my mother tongue.
