ohh touchy question.

Let me ask you this the type of girl that your going on a date with will she notice that you did not shave?

meaning she could see it as a bad thing, that you compromised for her or you will simply look better shaved.

in the end though I would suggest you ask a Rabbi that you respect.

Why date during this time anyhow if this is for pleasure? Who
dates to be unhappy?
