My cat came home with ticks, hundreds, she is an inside cat and accidently got out. I think that they are seed ticks, I have been frantically pulling them off, but there are so many I just do not know what to do. I made an emergency visit to the store to get some spray on Tick and Flea killer, I think it did no good. Please tell me what I need to do, she is miserable and I am paranoid and constantly scratching..... Can they get on me? Will my house be infested? Do I need to bring her to the vet? Any feedback will help

vets asap! if you pull them off the head will stay inside & can cause infection!!, They usually get burned off (mine did) my dog had 2 on its eyebrow & they held like a match type thing to them apparently it makes them let go so they can be removed. Not sure about the house,
please take to the vets they can give treatments for your home & get them from the cat

Don't pull them off! The mouth parts will stay attached and cause infection!

Take her to the VET - pet shop stuff doesn't work, it's a waste of time and money.

The vet will either remove them properly, or apply Frontline spray to them which will cause them to drop off.

For the record, indoor cats get fleas too. If she escaped once she can do it again - use Frontline regularly.
