i am 13 yrs and have a big stomach how can i loose it without going o the gym.what should and sholdnt i eat. what type of exercise should i do

the only way - overall weight loss.
to get defined abs you have to have low body fat percentage.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried - no junk food.

Do at least an hour of exercise a day. You dont need a gym.. just go for a run, play ball... anything.

Then check out what you eat. You dont need a diet... just a good food check.....
Eat fresh fruit instead of candy for example.
Lay off the cookies... stick to like one a day.
Stop drinking soda that is laced with sugar... you know the ones.
Don't stop off and get a cheesebueger on the way home form school.
Avoid french fries as much as possible.
Go for a healthy sandwich instead of a burger.
Eat frozen yogurt instead if icecream.
Eat more fruit. Try some vegetables. They're not so bad.

Follow these simple guides and your body will sort itself out soon enough. That energy you have stored there will be soon gobbled up by growth requirements and then you will be asking how to fatten up.

join the club I do loads of cycling on average 100 miles a week and you know it seems to have hardly any effect on my weight.Personally I think exercise is overrated as a way to loose weight its down to diet I'm afaid. the only one that ever worked for me was the atkins with which i can say with certainty will make you lose weight in the short term and do so remarkably quickly. It is not a diet i would recommend anyone going on long term quite apart from overall health concerns after a few weeks you will be really sick of the restricted diet but if you just want to drop a few pounds quick thats the one. I do one month on the atkins about once every six months or whenever the trousers start getting too tight

I'd suggest eating when your hungry, stopping when you're full, drinking lots of water, joining a sports rec team, and eating the healthiest stuff you can... You're only 13, you shouldn't need to worry too much!
