Jesus suffered and died to buy back for us the right to again live without death.
Adam and Eve were created and God had no intention of them ever dying.
But they disobeyed [ sinned] and the penalty was death...eventually. Genesis 3; 16.17
We have ' inherited' this fault.
We all eventually die.
Jesus has paid...with his life...for us to again live without death.
this will fulfil Revelation 21;4.
Jesus is again in heaven with his Father, Jehovah God, at God's right hand, and ruling as King of God's Kingdom. Matthew 6; 9,10
He probably winces when we sin each time. but he has left us with the knowledge of behaviour in how NOT to sin.

Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Don't you think you should prepare for his return?

Wrong again Toad. He suffered because of every sin ever done whether you believe it or not. Kinda makes what you think irrelevant doesn't it.
