I Deposited Money into a ATM machine but it hasn't showed up in account balance.?

I am a member of Bank Of America and I recently deposited cash into a Bank Of America ATM machine. Usually, it shows up immediately when i check the balance online but for some reason, it hasn't come up yet. Is this normal? Does it sometimes take a while for it to show up? What should I do?

If you're sure you didn't punch in the wrong account no. I suggest you call their 24-hour hotline to enquire.

Did you deposit it at a different ATM than normal? Sometimes, they make sure the money is there in the envelope before they actually credit your account. When I had B of A, that's what happened to me several times. Occassionally, it would pop up immediately. Sometimes, especially weekends, I didn't get it until Monday or Tuesday. Although, it never hurts to call the hotline. Might as well, since none of us know EXACTLY.

Depends on your banking history and how much you deposited and the time of your deposit.

1. If in Georgia and you deposit after 8 p.m., the deposit is credited the next business day.

2. If in Georgia and you deposit it BEFORE 8 p.m., the first $300 is immediately available under the Electronic Funds Transfer Act.

The deposit will post effective THAT business day, however this posting occurs between 3 .a.m. and 4 a.m. the next calendar day -- when most of America sleeps.

The statement of your balance should reflect the change immediately but that doesn't mean you will have access to it right away should you need to take it back out. It could be a technical problem

I would say that will take 1-2 days to be applied to your account. Especially online.
