Once a product is finished, how long does it take for it to get on shelves?

Once they complete and finish a product, how long do they have to wait for it to get to shelves? Does it take just a few days to package and distribute a product or does it take several weeks?

Your question was posted under consumer electronics. If imported from overseas, could be several months. If made in the USA, two weeks or less.
