I'd rather be a liberal thinker any day thank you very much.
In my opinion it is hard to tell which it is more like, both are bothersome and destructive.
And you are right, most people feel the need to push their beliefs on others because it helps them feel more comfortable in that belief. The more people who believe the way they do, the more valid the belief...or so they think. They couldn't be more wrong.

It's more like manure. It doesn't do any good unless you spread it around. When you do, what lives becomes fruitful and more abundant and healthy.
I do not like being given a choice of two wrong answers. Whenever I am confronted by such narrow mindedness, I ignore the limiting restrictions and offer the correct alternative.
Instead of denigrating others beliefs, why don't you try extolling the virtue of YOUR ...facts of life....

no. well, maybe the chain letter, I suppose. the virus...nah, that was done on "Reboot". It was very scary too. That's not the same feeling I get at my church. The chain letter feeling...yeah...tad annoying, maybe I'll pass it on, maybe I'll chance the hellfire and not.
