I keep plenty of toys around and keep making sure she bites them that other stuff in unexceptable. They have spray you can put on things to stop them or I heard get a 20 oz bottle empty of course and put in about 12 pennies close the cap real tight and when they start to bit on something their not supposed to shake that and tell them no. the noise will distract them and eventually they will quit because they dont like to be startled and told no. keep being persistant. keep it up and when you do that get and toy and say this is yours chew this. keep doing it.
Another thing is I keep lots of chew bones. the dingo bones are great cause they have meat in the middle so they are occupied enough trying to get to that or milkbones have a bone that are longers with meat in them I dont know the name off hand but my dog loves them she goes nuts and she dont worry about chewing nothing but them for a long time. she will chew them for hours. they come in a 2 pack for like 4 dollars at walmart. their great

Hi, i have the same problem with my puppy. What i did was, if she starts chewing on stuff, for example my socks, i would say NO! in a firm voice then get her toy and put it near her mouth. If she accepts the toy i praise her very well. You really need patience and by doing this every time she chews on something she will start to understand that she shouldn't be chewing that certain thing. :) At that age, puppies are teething and they really need to chew. So i suggest you buy her a chew toy. That should keep her busy.

Oh Goodness...Good enough, here is what you do.... Subsequent time this occurs, get a newspaper, roll it up and smack yourself within the head with it!!! You have to take them to a legit dog trainer and get them obedience expert. Domestic dogs are identical to children - Would you smack a small little one that is 6 months ancient? They do not fully grasp why you are yelling and hitting them. Moreover, you wouldn't leave children unattended, same to your dogs -- if you are not able to watch your pups, even though for five min. Then you need to put them in their crate. This is for his or her own safeguard, and your peace of intellect understanding they wont bite up your house. That you would be able to additionally purchase a product called Apple Bitter and spray that on all things you don't want them chewing on, like sneakers, socks, and many others. And little one proof your condo for your pups - your cigarettes can kill your puppies! This is worse than chocolate! So please, in your puppies sake take then to obedience training - and instruct yourself on learn how to handle puppies.

Small puppy kongs and fill with dry food & peanut butter!

Pigs ears and raw hide chews are great!

My dog loves these and chews them for hours...which is great when you want to watch TV in peace!!!

Chewing can be from boredom too so make sure she has walks and play ball games etc to keep her mind active.

Good luck!

i could say that she has fairly capability which you as an proprietor should be sure she burns in a greater useful way like walks and that i'm no longer a huge fan of dogs having toys, my dogs have actual bones no longer the uncooked cover style ( i think of those are no longer good for a dogs abdomen) however the actual bone it an wonderful way of a dogs freeing stress without the destruction of property mentality getting set in. basically supply it a attempt and regardless of if that's a domestic dog attempt restricting the unfastened time positioned her in a crate for some hours an afternoon dogs want their on my own time too.

Supervision is a MUST. Just as if there were a baby in the house, you need to puppy proof your home. If the dog cannot be supervised, you can use either a crate or a baby gate to confined the pup to a laundry room, mud room where there aren't things s/he can chew up.
