A friend of mine used to have a cat like that. In addition to chewing on various things, when she would sit on lap, she would start to chew on the person's shirt. She would do this for a long time, then leave you with a kitty slobber spot on your shirt. I dunno why she did this.
Just keep an eye on her for signs that she may have gotten sick from swallowing something she was not supposed to (vomitting, gagging, trouble breathing, etc). If she starts exibiting any of those behaviors, call a Veterinarian immediately.
If she starts chewing on something she is not supposed to, just go buy some "Bitter Apple". They sell it at most pet stores. It is non-toxic and you just spray it on the object she has been chewing on. She will probably not like how bitter it is and stop chewing on the object. Warning though, some cats like this stuff instead of hating it... and they will just sit there and chew on it and foam at the mouth becase of the bitterness. Good luck!

My cat does this, but I've never been able to break her of it. She'll bite my hand, but never hard enough to break the skin. I tried the spay bottle approach, which worked for a while, but after a few weeks she got used to the water and went back to chewing.

our cat licks us!!!! constantly, and if you don't respond and pet him then he will nibble at you, he also shews on toys, plastic, paper everything, I think it is normal, but our cat sometimes acts more like a dog LOL, as a matter of fact I noticed a red mark on hubby's elbow I asked him what happened he said remember the cat was licking me this morning, the cat actually licked come of his skin off....... I think it is cute when my cat acts this way, good luck with yours

I haven't had a cat like this myself, but my friend did. I have to admit, it was a little amusing, simply because I didn't have to live with it myself. I wasn't really that close with that friend, so I'm not how they resolved it. Wow, I've just lost why I'm answering this question, it seems like it won't be that helpful.

My cat chews plastic bags.....both cats do. One will chew wool blankets..I have heard it can be because they had trouble as a kitten.....but I am not sure why they would chew everything.
Sounds like you have a cat/dog......One of mine I call cat/dog, as he will play fetch.
