The klipsch pro media 2.1 THX or Bose Companion 2's. Just looking for speakers for my laptop. GOOD speakers!

You don't say which ProMedia .. the 2.0, 2.1, 5.1 (See link)? That said, any Klipsch speaker is going to beat the pants off any Bose speaker at anywhere near the same price level.

I'd go for the Bose Promedia 2.0 or 2.1 over the Companion 2's anyday. But if you are willing to consider yet another model have a look at the Logitech Z-2300 ... it is a similar price and was rated top PC speaker by CNet in 2006 ... beating out several much higher priced speakers (See second link)

Hi. Are these for your desktop or multimedia applications .If so either will do as far as i know .The Klipsch promedia ultra 5.1 is a home theater setup which will squash any Bose system, but that is not what you want. On second thought i think the Klipsch would be better than the Bose.
