It isn't that cool to take it. It is highly addictive and should only be taken if prescribed by your Dr.
Yo may not wanna hear it but, coming on here asking peoples advice of the "largest amount" you can take..... don't be stupid a Dr or pharmacist is the only one who can give that advice to you safely.
besides why when one works do you need to take the "highest possible" dose. Do you wanna sleep for two days straight, sounds like you need to talk to ur Dr if you're having that much of a problem sleeping!

Ativan is very addictive. It can only take 3 or 4 doses to become so. Only take ONE pill, no more... unless your doc has said to do so.
Try other methods if you can to fall asleep or calm down. Like I said, this is a HIGHLY addictive drug.

ALWAYS take the recommended dosage that is on your prescription bottle. If that isn't enough talk to your doctor concerning a different dosage.
Please don't play pharmacist
People die when they try to do things without the direction of their doctor.

It really depends on your physical composition as not one dose works the same on every body. Medications work stronger on petite people versus heavier-set people. What exactly are you trying to help? Please be careful and consult a doctor.

I wouldn't take more than 2 mg at once. That'll probably put you to sleep. If you're foolish enough to take more than that, you might not wake up!

Sounds as if you're going to take it even if a million people tell you not to, or to take how it's prescribed. Depends on if you take it daily or not. I wouldn't take more than 0.5 mg if it's not something you take daily. If you do, I wouldn't take more than 1.0 mg. Though, ideally, I wouldn't take any at all ;)

Only your doctor can tell you what the best dose is for you. Please be careful, and take it for what it's supposed to be for...not to make you feel high.
