I can tell you that the supplements definately work along with the healthy eating. When you change your way of eating the supplements take the place of what you are lacking in your system. Thats what supplements do, so therefore today as never before we need to take supplements as there is not much nutrients in the food. The soils are so depleted of minerals because of the greed to make money, as well as when we have food exported from all over the world. it is picked green and shipped and therefore it has not matured to its full value or nutrients. If they sent it fully ripe it would spoil on the way or right when it got here. If you want to know more I am here. I have lost 48 pounds and 4 dress sizes and have changed my whole way of eating and I will not go back to the way I was

Eat more protein, less carbohydrates and jump on a trampoline or walk for 20 minutes a day. Carbs to avoid are things like chips, excessive amounts of bread or bread products and sugars. NOT the carbs found naturally in whole foods. Atkin was an idiot. Stop drinking anything with added sugar in it as well, like soft drinks, energy drinks, cafe lates, Sobe, Arizona Tea, some orange juices, fruit punches, etc. Stick to water, not from concentrate juices, and skim or 1% milk. Vitamin Water is pretty good too, and it has less sugar than most things you buy at a convenience store. Diet pills are not a healthy way to lose weight, so I'm glad to hear you don't want to take them. Neither is Slim Fast. A proper diet and exercise will always be the cornerstone of any weight loss strategy. Do this for 6 weeks and ask friends and family to help you do it by not buying junk food or insisting on eating at places that don't have healthy menu options. 6 weeks is the minimum amount of time because you're body reacts slowly to subtle changes. After 6 weeks things will speed up as you become leaner and burn calories quicker. Avoid drastic changes (like not eating at all) because the damage you do to your organs is irreversable, and as soon as you stop you gain all that weight back plus some - your body's natural reaction to deprivation. Good luck and stick with it.

Ok i'm a nutrition major and my teacher talks about how unhealthy they are...and my mom told me about a lady 23 years old who went into a coma from using a certain diet supplement (my mother is a nurse and she basically had to watch this lady die because she didn't want to be artificially kept alive)....a healthy diet and exercise is the best way to loose weight especially cutting out soda and a lot of sugary things that aren't needed, and that along with exercise will boost your metabolism...because your metabolism is effect by what you eat. hope i helped

yea they work great, but they have a price.

1.money
2. side affects. they can kill you, heart attack, increase chance of stoke, more acne.

the side affects might not be visible at first but are their, why do you think the fda doesnt approve of them.

Take for example Hydrocut:
some of them are, increased headaches, nose bleeds, blood pressure.

And plus if you loose like 10 pound a week or more than 2 the chance your body can get used to it very slim, you will end gaining it back. It's unhealthy for people to loose more than 2 pounds a week.

KRIS,
DIET PILLS CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS. PEOPLE WANT A FAST EASY FIX, SO THEY THINK DIET PILLS ARE THE ANSWER. STICK TO HEALTHY EATING (WATCH YOUR TOTAL CALORIE INTAKE) AND EXERCISE. YOU WILL LOSE WEIGHT.

They may work but you will gain the weight back when you stop taking them. They are only a temporary fix.
