Yes. I work for a multi-national company and folks from our European subsidiaries (UK, Spain, Germany, Austria & France) have never had a problem renting a car in Canada or the US. Do bring your new picture license though; it is much easier with that one. They probably will NOT ask for the paper bit, but I'd have it available just in case.

BTW, you will NOT need an IDP. That's only a translation of your license and will be a waste of money on your part.

i'd desire so! usually talking Europeans are greater effective drivers than a large number of united statesdrivers. yet right this is a source to get the respond on your question and help in getting around the u . s . a .. while you're a member of the RAC they have reciprocal advantages with AAA so it would desire to be worth checking that out.
