God could have eliminated Lucifer, but how would everyone have reacted, would they have been fearful and would that be consistent with the character of God?
He could have punished Lucifer immediately, but would that be consistent with His character when He allows the opportunity for repentence?
He could prove Lucifer's claims were false. Do you think that is what is going on with the human experiment?

Goodfella, calm down. I believe God followed the only choice consistent with who He is. This question is intended to invoke thought and discourse regarding the rebellion in heaven and to maybe reveal new insights as to why we are struggling on earth. God bless.

Consider that when we are in heaven we can reflect on the failure of humans to rule the earth, and we will know God's plan is the only way to true peace and love and happiness.

How could you say "God's" character doesnt involve punishment without the opportunity for repentence.
The Flood is one example and there are probably HUNDREDS of others in the Old Testament.

Lucifer denied God and refused to serve Mankind.
It was the council of the Ancient of Days who were responsible for the trial of Lucifer and Satan. It does not seem that God was involved on a personal level. Authority is delegated to his son for this universe.
Lucifer and Satan are both locked up until Judgment day. Satan and Lucifer are not the same beings. Satan was the first Lieutenant of Lucifer. The other lieutenants and angels who followed are still reeking havoc on the earth. God's options are so numerous, I can't imagine how many. He certainly can eliminate or create anything he wants. It says in the bible that he wishes none to parish. So it seems that his stand is non-interference. His love is so vast, perhaps he hopes that Those who fell away will repent. I have read that at the end, the fallen angels will be given a choice to return to God. Those who choose not will be extinct. Those who chose, will be moved to a far out planet and the life cycles of human will be theirs in a primitive state. There will have to reincarnate over and over like mankind have.

Yes, and the one third that followed Satan could have perished right then and there but God loved His Children. Hence, this Earth Age in which all are born innocent of the rebellion through the womb. Then Christ also born through the womb paid the price for all. That through repentance we are forgiven and Satan, i.e. death was defeated. The only entity by name sentenced to perish is Satan.
No experiment but a testing of character.
The Lord’s harvest is a process of sowing the Word, refining, cleaning, sifting, purification, and separation.
The Lord’s harvest sprouts at the First Advent and continues through the Second Advent into the Millennium to the great white throne.

It all boils down to sovereignty.
When Satan questioned Eve about the forbidden fruit, he wasn't questioning his power but his right to use it. He insinuated that God was witholding something good from humans. (Gen 3:1-5) When this issue came up again, Satan stated that those who serve God do so out of what they can get from God. If God stopped giving them things, he'd lose all his servants. This includes not only mankind, but angelic submission to God. (Job 1:7-11; 2:4, 5)
If God had destroyed Adam, Eve and Satan the question of sovereignty would never have been answered. Ultimately someone would bring it up again. So destroying them outright isn't the answer.
Nonetheless God wants justice to be served. He knew that there would be some of Adam's descendants who would be loyal to him. So he passed judgement on the sinners but provided a means of escape for those who'd be obedient to him. He gave his Son and through faith in Christ's sacrifice, honesthearted ones could live forever. (Gen 3:15; John 3:16; Rom 5:21)
Adam, Eve, and Satan were all perfect. They lived sinless lives until the incident in Eden; we ourselves were born into sin and do it on a daily basis. They used their free will and rebelled against God's authority. God told Adam that if he ate of the tree that he would die. That would be his punishment for disobedience. (Gen 2:15-17; 3:19) Satan would also be "crushed in the head"; he would also face his end. (Gen 3:15)
We all are faced with a choice: accept God's sovereignty and do our best in following his will or reject God's sovereignty and side with Satan. God willingly allows mankind (while being influenced by Satan) to try and prove their point throughout the centuries. He's given suffient time for this to be done so the issue can be put to rest once and for all.

God could of not of made Lucifer, since God knows all. He knew what Lucifer/satan was going to do.
God wanted us to have a choice of doing good or making satan happy by sinning.

Option? He had any option he wanted. He made Lucifer. He is God,Lucifer is a fallen angels with the powers only God gave him. At any time he could destroy Lucifer but chooses not to.It has not one thing to do with us. Lucifer wanted to be above God.

We were created the praise God. This is a very interesting concept you have. The Word of God says that He wishes above all else that we prosper and be in good health, even as our soul prospers. Also that it is not HIS WILL that any should perish but that all should have eternal life. You are correct, God can do anything but fail. His mercies are new everyday. May God Bless U.

God created each little thing, he did no longer create evil, keep in mind devil in the past He grew to grow to be devil, God created him in stunning elegance, skills, he became very intense Angel(Cherubim), that's what God created. whilst he became by using his very own ideas delight envy and so forth, they have been issues bought up interior him, God did no longer create those issues, you're finding at it like God created all those issues as nicely. He did no longer for it would pass against all of the failings that are the Lord. The devil is the father of all lies, subsequently he did create evil ideas, for the be conscious father is the top area of beginnings,... subsequently turn area, the Lord(Father). we are far from no longer something, whilst someone makes something in such elegance that may not what one thinks "that this is not any longer something", how plenty extra whilst the Lord creates something? you're eternal considering you're created from the Lord, you're spirit, spirit does no longer die. God became and is... he's the commencing up:)

Satan could've repented right up until the moment Christ died. That he didn't- such idiocy deserves the penalty it brings. As for God not vanquishing him, it wasn't in the cards to do so. God knows what His purposes are past, present, and future. Satan had no desire to repent. He's worse than a child throwing a cosmic temper tantrum. Personally, I wasn't impressed with him. Oh, and Satans claims against God have been proven wrong continuously. It is written that wisdom is justified of her children. Satan still wants to be a viable pretender to the throne of the kingdom within you. He still hasn't figured out that his place is no more.
