Great question.

The quick non-answer is that he's god so he could do whatever he wanted. But that's begging the question, and obviously logical fallacies don't fly here.

I don't know if Jesus really existed, but I can tell you that if he did, the virgin birth is a load of sh!t.

Never thought about this before. He's suppose to be a fully human male. He can't be that without a Y chromosome. A human Y. Maybe the Holy Ghost materialized it out of handy items. Maybe he manipulated the nucleotide sequences in Mary's DNA and formed MaryY. Though that sounds more like the work of the flying spaghetti monster.
Just when I was calming down about the missing 18 yrs. you gotta bring up this.

I've heard that the "virgin" in the virgin birth meant that Mary was free of sin. A pure person. I've also heard that the "miraculous-ness" of the birth wasn't Jesus, but Mary. The fact that in a world with "original sin", Mary was without sin was the miracle.
Of course, I've also heard theories that Mary was from an alternate universe where the "original sin" didn't take place, and that Mary lied. So, it's up to you to decide what's the truth.

God made the biological material that was necessary to make his cellular structures, including the Y chromosome. As one other answerer said it is not difficult to make a Y chromosome when you create the universe from nothing.

certain, completely be counted on it. through how, virgin start is plausible. If a guy ejaculates promptly outdoors the vagina, the sperm can enter and effect in a being pregnant. look it up. right here i will help... discovered some information for you on the topic from the nationwide well being service. Sperm enter the female's body through the vagina, in the previous making their way through the cervix and womb to the fallopian tubes the position the egg is fertilized. that is plausible for a female to get pregnant without needing sexual sex (penetration), if there is an chance of any sperm entering into the vagina ... notwithstanding, the possibilities of you turning out to be pregnant in this kind are very small because sperm can basically stay for a very short era of time even as outdoors of the human body (a couple of minutes if left to dry out, or some hours if moist). it might want to also be plausible for being pregnant to ensue if the guy ejaculates on the point of the front of the vagina, or if his erect penis comes into contact including his spouse's body close to the vagina. back, the possibilities of you getting pregnant in this kind are a lot smaller than in case you've been to have penetrative sex. notwithstanding, you should observe that, often times, getting pregnant in this kind is achieveable.

the virgin birth refers to the birth of MARY, not jesus. if you've studied anything about mary, her parents, and her upbringing, you will come across the essenes. the essenes were a very cloistered group and, according to some teachings about mary, she became pregnant when she became engaged to joseph at an essene commune in the region of qumran. according to those teachings, she and joseph entered into a trance-like state and had relations and neither she, nor he, was aware that it had taken place. hence, since there was no pleasurable act between male and female, no sin was committed. that is why jesus was said to be born without sin. the sexual act had to have occurred, not to enjoy it, but to get a child from it. since the act occurred, the laws of biology were not violated.
additionally, john the baptist, cousin to jesus, was also a member of the essene community and his teachings reflect those which are found in dead sea scrolls.

JESUS had 1 y chromosone. The miracle of GOD in the flesh has a unique biology, because of the GOD man combination. JESUS is the only one of the GODHEAD that is like this since HE retained HIS humanity after HIS resurrection. There is an amateur archeologist who found the Ark of the covenant, and it is yet to be unearthed. What he found was a sample of blood that was nankized in Israel and was found to have 1 y chromosone. It is also below one of the reported places that JESUS hung on the cross.HE actually shed HIS blood on the true mercy seat of the ark. truism? way beyond that friend.

I think the religious answer to this would be something like, "God can do anything, so he could manufacture the Y chromosome out of nothing, just as He created the universe out of nothing."

Personally though I don't believe in a virgin birth... I think it could be a mistranslation of the original text, or meshing together of other popular myths (Perseus was the product of a "virgin birth" too, for example.)

according to Islam, Jesus has been created from a word of God given to his mother, and then supported by the holyspirit. Jesus is like Adam who's God created without no parents and told him be in what i want you to be.

I don't believe that his actual mother was a virgin, and I also doubt that Mary was his mother. If you had seen the Nativity Story that had been released some time ago, you will now about that Mary was a mother and Jesus was the father and they both had a daughter in that movie. Also, Da Vinci Code movie also talks about this, too.
