not usual big boy US talk, come on talk with sense, why try to create grudges between nations, hopelly the US doesn't have bad realtions with russia and china, why already go to the extreme by thinking of possible warfare, think more sense, less violence, and more diplomatic.Secondly they are not trying to push the Us under in fact it is the reverse. The us spends in double digit figures the amount both russia and china spend in military buildup every year. The US is continually agreesively pursuing a frontal, first expansion policy. It's putting missile defense systems all around russia, in it's block of influence nations, particularly czech republic and poland. For china the us is continually trying to have influence in nearby pakistan, afganistan, iraq, and even iran, so now think about rephrasing your question more sensibly. Should the US think more upon the consequences of pre-emptive developement in other nation's spheres of influence?

The only possible threat I can see is nuclear weapons. True, some of these weapons are not known where they exist. Even the nuclear weapons supposedly under tight control could one day be mismanaged and cause catastrophe. It seems more a question of time rather if. With proliferation of nuclear weapons, in time something has to go seriously wrong. The world would be a hell of a lot safer had all players come together in sincerely, revealed their stockpiles and decided to break them apart simultaneously. Since this can't possibly happen, it seems highly possible that something will go wrong one day, and that can weak havoc of the magnitude nobody can predict. Now, to get back to your question...I can see where the world could be dominated by big economic players, and not necesarily countries. I can see where big financial institutions will control the world one day, and become, in essence, powerful corporations that run governments. Just watch all those mergers going on, and you'll see what I mean.

I personally don't have much of an opinion on Russia, but China is on it's way to becoming the number one powerhouse in global economic and military prowess. China's massive population and industrious attitude and skill make it a severe opponent. Seeing where they are now, and considering that they are still in the middle of an industrial revolution, you begin to realize how much potential they really have. And with the United States relying hugely on it's imports, I do not believe that they have any possible ability to not "allow them" to do anything. Just watch, in the next dozen or so years, China will sit as a world superpower, and there is little we can do about it.

Russia is not currently strong enough militarily, economically or with teh support of the people to wage an extended war with us. The only way they are ready to let go of their neutrality is if another Superpower emerges that they ally with, such as China. China is not yet ready militarily but is gettng there fast.

Why would Russia or China want to destroy the biggest potential market for whatever stuff they produce? Killing your customers isn't a real good business plan.

The Russian and Chinese threats against the US are real especially that the latter is already indebted to them by the billions.
