That information doesn't seem to be on their web site. I suggest you go to a Lifetouch studio at a JCPenney or Target store and look at a camera to see what they are using.
Note that not every Lifetouch studio/photographer will have the newest equipment, so they are almost certainly using several models if not several brands.

I am a high volume school photographer in the Southeast, and our studio uses digital cameras at this point. We switched from film and the profits rose. The quality of digital these days is tremendous providing you use at least an 8 megapixel camera, (Nikon or Canon, preferably), and a large capacity flash card.
A couple of my peers who worked for lifetouch have told me that they were still using film...but that was 3 years ago.
As for what they use now, I don't know. But I think and the mothers of those school kids think that our pictures are much better, as our photographers are just that.....photographers, and not someone that was just trained to use some camera equipment.

Three years ago they were using a custom made camera that used special 39 mm long roll film that allowed the labs to mechanize. I understand that they are attempting to go digital so my info is probably old.
