You can't put a price tag on eternal life. It is so much more than that. I think that God wants us to take care of this body but to remember that it is just a shell. I think that a good example is Anna Nicole Smith. I watched after her death and I know she was Zany, but no one can deny that she was indeed a beautiful woman. However one of the big problems that was going on during the trial over where to bury her was that her body was quickly deteriorating. It really made me think. People focus so much of their time and energy on making these bodies beautiful and flawless looking and yet a couple of days after they die the beauty will be gone just like that. So your question is very valid. I do not understand why people can make sure that everything as far as money is taking care of before they die, but they don't take care of where they are going to spend eternity.

To God it is very valuable.
Eze 18:4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.
God is long suffering, fair, righteous, and loving, desiring that none of His children perish, but come to repentance. Through stupendous methods, God has tried to save His children from the lake of fire. Yet, many will chose eternal death over eternal life.

I love myself so much I could just kiss myself all over!!! It took a while to learn that truly loving myself is the only way I can truly love others. I have gained a few pounds, I am not as youthful as I used to be, but I feel as though I love myself now, more than ever.
The Bible is interpreted in many different ways. Because it is not written in our age of language it is difficult for the non-historical theologian to decipher. I believe we are worthy of love and good here and now. Heaven is what we make of it. Our lives are what we make of them. Our perceptions are our realities. We are the creators of our perceptions. God is all around us all the time.
I, for one, don't respond because of the pesimistic idea that we have to wait unitl after death to live in peace and harmony. I believe that we can live however we choose to live here and now.
I love myself so much that I love to live in the present.
The miracle of love, is that love is given to us, to give to one another.

That is the question Lucifer asks when he starts the bargaining. Poster, are you him? He tryed to get Jesus, came close and failed. He tried to get Dan'l Webster and got his butt kicked.
Don't fall for it. He always cheats you.
He's gotten just about all of the fundamentalist and evangelical Christians but they don't know it yet. He's not called the Father of Lies for nothing. Poor suckers think they're on the path to heaven.

The human soul is not eternal. Ez. 18:4 says: " The soul that is sinning, it itself will die."

Because despite what Jesus has made possible for us, the god of this Earth, satan, has blinded the eyes of the masses so that they cannot understand and do not want to. Therefore we must pray and ask God to help us get through to them.

EVERYTHING!
"And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater: and the will bestow all my fruits and my goods. And I will say to my Soul, Soul, Thou hast my goods lad up for many years: take thine ease, eat, drink and be merry. But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God. And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you. Take no though for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. The life is more than meat, and the body is, more than raiment." Luke 12: 18-22 KJV
