he really wanted to be friends before but then i was kind of a crazy ex being all sad and weird and stuff.
being his friend or not shouldn't depend on that though right?
shouldn't it be who i really am? i can't be myself right now.

I really do want to be his friend. He is a nice guy. I know we broke up and all but why can't it be normal for us to be friends? I don't want to lose him completely. I'm just not myself right now and I can understand why he wouldn't want to be my friend.

You dont need your exboyfriend as a friend...Why would you want your exboyfriend as a friend???
If you still have feelings for him, would you like to be hearing about his love life or the girls he goes out with, or even worse, be a guest at his wedding???

No, it does not matter whose fault was that the relationship did not work, the fact is that it finished and friendship should not be an option. You dont have to block him like an alien, simply dont keep in touch, if you ever see him say hi and keep on walking.

It is natural to be sad when you break up with someone and you need time to heal therefore just be strong and wish him luck but take care of yourself first and then the others. Not talking to him or keeping in touch does not make you a witch in no way, it just shows you know where you stand and you are not settleling for less than what you want or deserve.

Take care and be happy!!!

just be yourself
if it is not to be at least you will know right away without wasting your time that you could be spending with the right one or wasting his time as well. if you trully love him and love yourself you will be true to yourself and to him
