What happens if I'm given a promise and an engagement ring together , where should i were them????

I have both an engagement and promise ring. I was given the promise ring about a year before the engagement ring though. So at first i wore the promise ring on my left, but now i wear my engagement ring on my left and the promise ring on my right. And i rarely ever take them off :)

Wow, talk about making sure of something. You got them both at the same time? Anyway, the engagement ring should be worn on the left hand up until the ceremony, and then put on as soon as the ceremony is over. The promise ring should then be worn on the right hand, or on a chain around your neck.

I would wear the engagement ring on my left hand on the fourth finger where it usually is placed if you are an American. I would then put the promise ring on the same finger on my right hand.
