In other words, religion is an industry and believers are consumers. As consumers, they can be and are manipulated to buy more dogma just as consumers are manipulated with advertising. Benny Hinn seems to have a good grasp on this concept.

There's a church in my town that IS a marketplace. Outside the sanctuary, there's a coffee shop, a gift shop and a hair salon.

I would if my belief didn't have it's roots since before money was even an object. Who did Moses pay or who paid Moses. How much did the average Hebrew slave make.

I guess your economics don't apply there owell, I guess you disgruntle non believers have to come up with something else.

I think that it depends on whom the Christian is following. Jesus should be our focal point and his Word should be our guide....not any man.
