i know exactly how you feel. I work with my mother and she is my manager and it is the hardest thing i ever had to do. Not only is the job I do demanding but she will bring persoanl issues into the office and that makes everyone uncomfortable. I feel for you man! now, does your father consider anyones ideas? If he is just blowing off yours and no one elses i would talk to him and ask him to treat you like any other employee there. (if there are any other employees...) If this doesnt work out the only thing I can suggest is to do the same thing I am doing and try to find another job where you can find the respect you deserve.

Sounds like the situation I had with my mom. If this is employment, then I suggest searching out another job. It is what I had to do- sometimes, you just do not click with a parent when it comes to working or even personal. It will only make the relationship more strenuous because the work can bleed over into normal life.
Best to stop the main source of misery now before it becomes constant, and it's better than having the bickering.
