Depends on what you mean by feelings. I don't categorically discount the wisdom of intuition, as it's often based on information not available to the conscious mind. In fields of math, intuition is respected.
But, information, certainly the kind that offers scientific explanations, must be above intuition, which is at best based on anecdotal evidence.

Yeah find a good balance. I found we all come with feelings but they can be damaged and we resort to information. Some people use information when what their doing makes them feel bad.
Yet information can allow for quick reaction. Your feelings should be able to kick out to allow the thinking part to get the feelings job done fast...get it?
Bob sees a kid drowning . That is the input thought.
He is alarmed. That is the reaction feeling.
Bob rushes over and saves the kid. That is a feeling determining thought determining action which all goes back to the input thought and reaction feeling...is the boy still drowning? No, so bob is no longer alarmed.
The situation doesn't , however have to be extreme.

After some thought about this, I think that they need to be given equal importance. If you have feeling without information, you may have fools worshiping false gods, or people thinking they are God. If you have information without feeling, you may have dry speculative people who miss the goal entirely.
The trick I think is to have a sincere prayer to God for more information. God will send guidance (information) to the sincere(feeling) person.
True information is there from God's holy scriptures, and so there quick advancement in it.

Feeling are needed to interpret the information so no one gets hurt by pure logic.
Logically I probably am expendable, compared to younger educated people. And when I'm 88 I'll feel this more than I do today at 47.

You're less likely to be deceived if you use both your mind and heart. Models of reality based on science are always getting refined as new information becomes available. Each of us has a conscience that helps us distinguish right from wrong through feelings. Sometimes emotions can blind us to truth (e.g., anger, love).

Information, because holding the truth from someone to keep their feelings from getting hurt in the present time...could end up hurting them more if they ever find out the with-held information.

Information is King.
It does not matter how you feel about something if the information gives you the real answer.
If the information is lacking, then your feelings are all you have to go on.

The truth should dictate our feelings, never our feelings dictate to us what is truth. Emotions are fickle at times and can not be trusted unless they they are rooted in and spring forth from truth.
I would like to recommend a book to those whom may be interested...."The Cross Centered Life" by author C.J. Mahaney....he deals with this subject in the book.

Neither. Bible says: "The Spirit (spiritual feelings) and the body (information) is the soul of man. " Then your soul should rule.
