i got a demo verison of his program i don't install the one he sent me he says Monday he is contacting Prosecutors office on Monday to seek legal action against me

he sent me full verison back in Januray i never installed it i found the demo a week back installed and now says i am using his program

Tell him good luck with that, if it's a demo version it's avalible in multiple places on the web. Did you happen to save the email or the envelope he sent them in? Because, sweets, if he sent you a full blown version of anything and you can prove HE sent it they'll go after him not you. You didn't break into his house or hack his computer HE SENT them that makes him liable, only for full versions, like we've said demos are free on the web and one can't sue for something that is free. My brother is laughing is butt off, he's a prosecutor for our county. He asks you're permission to tell this story to his collegues.

A demo is a demo and can be freely used by anyone who has it. He has no grounds for any legal action. Also, prosecutors, on the average, will send him packing. They only prosecute if there is a major infringement. They will tell him to try small claims court if he is serious. You are on the right, he is wrong.

if its a demo dont worrie about it, cuz u can download tons of demos for free, if its the full version and requires a key to install then u can worrie

The guy sounds like a retard so I wouldn't worry about it...
If you want to be on the safe side, just shred the program files that are on your HD then no worries at all...

point and laugh at his ignorance. that or tell him to get over it. i mean come on they are just a few programs, right?
