It doesn't seem fair. What do you do if you need treatment, but don't have health insurance and can't afford treatment programs? It seems like only celebrities, pro athletes, and other millionaires could afford to go to rehab centers. What about those who are less fortunate and don't have health insurance, how are they suppose to pay for the treatments?

This is the unfortunate consequence of our government system. There really is nothing that you can get for free, except for a few therapy visits. However, some rehab centers have sliding scale fees. Unfortunately, they are often not residential (live-in) centers. The rich ride on the backs of the poor and our government does little to support its most vulnerable and impoverished people.

Why do you think poor people gripe so much, becaue this is a rich mans world. Those of us that are less fortunate cannot go to these fancy rehab centers. And so therefore live the rest of our lives in pain.

I hear what you are saying but if you go to the emergency room and tell them that you are about to go through withdrawals of something they will keep you there and assist you through the withdrawals.

Most places will put you on the psyche ward but it is filled with people who are going through the same thing as you. Try to get any help you can.
