A great quote indeed. like Muhammad Christ was only a profit. Christians today persecute more than the average atheist. In my opinion the legacy of Christ was falsely recorded by the disciples. Modern day Christians insists on blaming Satan and demons for their bad habits, when it is solely their own hearts which are evil. they think that because they believe the lie of salvation that they can proceed with evil intentions and still enter the great kingdom. Christianity and its branches including Mormons and witnesses are the reason that this world is filled with hatred. remember the Crusades. the church was responsible for the death of so many. yet they claim to be holy.

Like has nothing to do with it.Liking Christ does not impress Him one bit. Christians, not the legalists who think they are holy because they go to church once a week, (going to McDonalds once a week doesn't make you a hamburger!), but the people that know the person of Jesus the Christ (which means risen), and have made the personal decision to ask Him to be their Savior and Lord, know they are completely and hopelessly dead without Christ as their Head. See a body without a head, IS DEAD. So real Christians accept Jesus as their Lord, to govern their spirit's, which you will never see, and that tends to make them a very gentle and loving people. I guess you know only those people who "have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof." Maybe you ought to try to meet some different 'Christians' instead of forming an opinion based on a limited experience. You might be surprised.

This is interesting.
You may be making the mistake a lot of people do; that is in "judging" Christ by looking at his followers.
Christians (all of us) can be very bad representatives of the Savior, so please don't do this. Learn about Christ through a relationship with Him and judge Him on His merits alone. If you want to know about him, find out through the Bible, not through looking at the actions of mere human beings.
I'm glad you like Christ.
He loves you.

Absolutely true. Some times I am shocked that some people who spread so much hatred on Yahoo Answers and the world overall claim to be followers of such a great soul.

Words of wisdom. If all Christians were actually Christ-like what a wonderful thing. And if all Muslims were Mohamed-like what a wonderful thing etc, etc, etc....what a wonderful loving world this would be!

Ghandi was right about that but overall I've little respect for him. Ghandi was a fool. He advised the Brits to surrender to Hitler because he thought it would prevent violence. Yeah, Ghandi was a fool - it's worth repeating. Thank God Winston Churchill didn't listen to the little weasel.

Very good point! What does it translate too? Christianity becomes unattractive to non-Christians.
Peace and every blessing!

I agree with Ghandi. We Christians suck. But then again if we were all like Christ, he wouldn't have had to come and show us the way.
