Same as the first answer. Loads of vitamin C. Also the tiny seeds are a good laxative. I grow Kiwis over a pergola on my terrace. You need male and a female plant to get fruit - so that makes them almost aphrodesiac.
The plant provides great shade and the cats go crazy for the budding leaves like they do on catnip.

Fruits contain antioxidants that are beneficial to good health. Fruits, such as berries, peaches, plums, prunes, raisins, grapes, kiwi fruit, cherries, and oranges are high in antioxidants. Antioxidants fight disease by helping to repair damaged cells affected by the oxidation process that occurs during normal cell functioning.

Either Yahoo or MSN featured it this past week as one of 6 super-foods. Keep eating it, it's extraordinary. Low glycemic index, too.
