I'm writing a story about a girl who's single dad recently remarried woman with kids of her own, and she doens't really get along with the 16 yr old step-sister and the 15 y old step-brother. Her 11 yr old brother has autism. There's also twins that play hockey and a percent of the story happens at the games.
Now her love interest lives with his single mom and helps take care of his baby brother and sister and in the story he finally meets his will dad.

So if anybody else had delt with any of this i would love to hear your own personal insight on the matter, I need relatives of kids with autism, hockey moms, people who didn't meet their dad till late in life, people that live in blended families so if you an help me i would greatly appreiate it, I just want personal anecdotes. I wnat the story to do justie for these families especially the ones dealing with kids with autism

Does the brother have low-functioning or high-functioning autism. My brother had 4 kids, two with autism. Both were very low-functioning. Arianna is almost 11 & has a vocabulary of an 18 month old. But she understand a whole lot more. If the brother in your story is mostly non-verbal, you could have people saying things around him forgetting that he understand what they are saying.

If the brother is verbal, that is much above what I am familiar with. But if he's low-functioning, email me if you want ideas.

Hello There!
I also am a writer. I'm writing a book. It's about my Ex being a serial murderer! And, the abuse (sexually, physically, emotionally, financially and Spiritually). He was sentenced to 'Death Row' at San Quintin in California. I now live on the East Coast and WILL NEVER go back to California (to live). The judge said to my Ex in Court: "You ARE A REAL MONSTER!" He was!

I now have the 'BEST' husband in the World (for me) and my husband IS my Best Friend!

My suggestion is: write about this part of your life - but, it might be a good idea to 'change the names' so you won't have any 'problems.'

I Wish You the Best in This Endeavor!

Grace Be Unto You. God Bless You!
